Here is my plan for Henry County;

    • I will be the elected representative that puts your rights and concerns first.
    • I believe in family; I am a family man – I believe in faith; my faith is in God – I believe in your property and second amendment rights; I will protect your rights – I believe in you. Together, we will see District 1 be the place to live, work, play, pray and grow commerce. To further enhance the quality of life and prosper in our district is my priority because it’s your priority.
    • I will proudly honor and protect your rights as an American, Henry Countian, and citizen of District 1. You will receive improved police services, improved fire services, and experience a quicker response from our first responders. Your safety and welfare are my number one priorities.
    • I support higher wages for public safety. We are not being good stewards of your hard earned money when we train personnel and later loose them to a higher paying county or city. When we raise salaries, we will save the county money by keeping them here.
    • I will set up a study committee to find out why business growth is stagnant in Henry County, while at the same time, find ways to attract new commerce and retain the existing businesses.
    • The Atlanta Regional Commission, as well as the Georgia Department of transportation wonders where Henry County is when it is time to seek millions of dollars of funding for road and intersection improvements. They say all other counties are continuously at their front doors with open hands when money is available. I hear them say time after time, “Henry County is missing in action, so they will miss the action again.” As your representative, I will camp out at that front door with both hands open.
    • I will be proactive instead of reactive to deter issues and difficult challenges the county and its citizens currently face. When always reactive, we forfeit our lead.
    • I will work with whomever necessary to bring improved internet access, speed, and capacity opportunities to every person and business in District 1. In order to prosper we must have it. Without it, economic growth will remain stagnant.
    • You as taxpayers bankroll way too many lawyers who defend way too many lawsuits currently directed at our county commission as a result of their failure to facilitate opportunities to negotiate middle ground.
    • I will listen closely to you, my neighbors, and the recommendations of our professional staff when pending legislation is before me.
    • Residential growth will happen. New homes will be built. As your representative, I will encourage all growth be well thought out and managed by the codes and land use plans of Henry County.
